QUICKIE PROGRAMS

FOR COIN CLUB MEETINGS
AND OTHER OCCASIONS

For those times when your guest speaker cancels at the last minute, or the video tape you ordered did not arrive, or you just need a new meeting idea.  Any coin club or other non-profit organization may use and copy these activities for their own use, but we would appreciate it if you would acknowledge that they came from the California State Numismatic Association web site.

We would like to post ideas, coin quizzes and other items from your club as well.  E-mail a copy to csna@joelscoins.com or mail to Joel Anderson  PO Box 3016  Merced, CA 95344-1016.  Your club will be acknowledged on-line.

WHAT IS IT #1 Try to identify the coin from a picture of a small part of the coin.  This can be used as either a Young Numismatist activity or for the entire club.  May be open "redbook" (recommended for Young Numismatists) or closed book. Courtesy of The Gateway Coin Club of Merced County.

WHAT IS IT #2 Try to identify the coin from a picture of a small part of the coin.  Includes 19th and 20th century United States coins.  More challenging than What Is It #1. Courtesy of The Gateway Coin Club of Merced County.
